The Nonsimplicities of Trade

Trade is not as simple as it seems. There are many things that stop trade from happening, or make it difficult to trade. When trading, people use a system of exchange, called currency. People can use different forms of currencies to trade with. You might use money as a form of currency, or maybe use another good as a form of currency, but if you give nothing in return it isn’t trading anymore. Some natural barriers that resist trade are mountains and deserts. There are many good and bad things about trade. Sometimes trade is used for the wrong reasons. Slaves are examples of bad things to trade with other countries. Trade can also cause problems, especially if there is a problem with a transaction, or misusing the fact that you can buy stuff from other countries that may not be legal in yours, like fireworks. It’s not only bad things though, there are also plenty of good things to trade with other countries. One good thing about trade is that it lets countries experience things they usually wouldn’t have. Trade can also cause globalization, which is a worldwide society.
